I think that's supposed to be the UAS for IE 1.0. Meanwhile, just the UAS doesn't help much, as most browsers let you choose your own UAS (even if you have to be sneaky about it). Based on the acceptance info, a email client masquerading?

It was, in fact, IE1. :)

A screenshot of Windows 95 running IE1 and showing the About box, which shows a version number of 4.40.308

It was a bit of a trick question because of the version number. It's the original IE that came with Windows 95; later versions would include IE2, but this was before that.

(By the way, I hear word from Azz that you were looking for me the other day?)
