I've just seen the most transphobic article I've ever seen in my life, and another that comes close.

I'm not going to link them. But I do want to say that if you're on The Magazine Project, you probably don't want to be. Both articles are currently in the "Featured Articles" section on the front page, so if you really wanted to see them, they're there. But I must warn you that there is some very strong transphobia in both, and that they can be incredibly triggering for trans people.

I hate my horrible sense of curiosity. I couldn't get over the sense of needing to know.

And then I threw up.

What is wrong with people. I'm cis but the partner of a trans person who one of these articles attacked the identity of and just what the fuck. I'm glad they took it down ever, I am not glad they put it back up.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. :(

The article as it stands now was actually edited when it was put back up. It was worse before. Trust me, you don't want to see the original version. You really don't.

You didn't happen to save the original version, did you? I was hoping to use it in a paper and didn't think to screencap it.

The original version is currently in Google's cache, so you should be able to find it from there.

If you don't find it, I did make a page that compares the two articles and shows exactly what changed between the old and new versions. If you want that, let me know and I'll PM the link to you.
