So, I guess people are wondering how I'm doing, hmm? There's a lot to talk about in this post, so I'm doing something rare and putting it under a cut. Do read it if you can, though.

This is a repost; I originally composed and wrote this on my phone, but for some reason all the newlines disappeared, making it unreadable when it was posted. I sent this from my phone to the laptop and leeched off an unprotected wifi signal for a second to post this. >:D

I'm doing fairly well, though. I'm currently on my own - Nall and Corin will be here on the 17th. We met on the 10th to check in though, and ate at a nearby Italian restaurant.

This works out just fine for me, as it gives me a week to allow me to buy stuff to look good in before they see much of me - I'd have been going crazy otherwise with the knowledge that they'd be seeing me in a state I'd rather they hadn't seen me in.

My search for clothing is a little difficult, though. I bought an extra pair of jeans from Debenhams on a gift card that my old workplace gave me when I left, and will be using it for more, but most of today has been taken up with buying other essentials - milk, food, toilet paper, new electric toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, shower puff, electric razors (one for beard, one for rest of body), and a few other bits. (I deliberately didn't take a lot on the non-electric side of things, as I wanted to buy new stuff. I *had* brought an older electric razor, but it doesn't do the best job it could.)

I did look for clothes too, but one of my problems is that since I'm very underweight, wearing most female tops is an issue for me as you can see bones poking through. That and there's an annoying Adam's apple I wish I didn't have, for all to see :( I also have something that could be mild acne on my upper chest, but I don't know.

So my choices are fairly limited right now. one item of clothing that solves the problems in one fell swoop is a roll-neck top (as well as being pretty much the only item of clothing I know of that covers the Adam's apple, except for scarves), but I only have one and Debenhams didn't have any. So I'm kind of needing help there somehow. Any ideas?

Other than that, though, it's all going well. I've set up my musical keyboard on one side of my bed and my tower computer on the other (which currently has no graphics card as it's broken in a weird way; as such, it's primarily being used to stream music to my laptop, which is connected via a wireless access point and is hooked up to the keyboard so it can pump out audio using something other than its tinny laptop speakers).

One big issue we had was that the toilet in the main bathroom was broken such that it wouldn't stop pumping water into the cistern after it was flushed, necessitating the water flow to the house to be stopped until it could be fixed. It got fixed yesterday, by a plumber who replaced most of it. ;p Fortunately we're not paying for it. Yay for working loos! \o/

Anyway, that's my big update of doom. As I said before, I'm posting this from my phone. We don't yet have a landline service as far as I know, therefore no Internet. (Hence my note in the last post.) We'll start to have useable Internet on the 17th though, yay. :)
